Green Angel Ventures is delighted to be featured in Business Green’s Net Zero Pioneers Report, alongside two of its portfolio companies: Naked Energy and Zedify.
The report, which has been published in anticipation of this year’s Net Zero Festival, identifies 50 of the most innovative UK-based businesses, across 10 key sectors. It highlights some of the most innovative companies bringing about deep decarbonisation, and acts as a tangible representation of the extraordinary corporate commitment that exists when it comes to the fight against climate change.
Nick Lyth, President and Founder of Green Angel Ventures, commented:
“Inclusion in the Business Green Pioneers report is very welcome for all of us at Green Angel Ventures. We set this up, as Green Angel Syndicate, with the express purpose of pioneering angel investment in the fight against climate change. We recognised an important need, and an opportunity.”“There used to be no angel syndicate in the UK specialising in the fight against climate change. In entering this arena, it is gratifying to find such strong and informed support from media companies like Business Green; and from related investment houses like fellow Pioneer, Sustainable Ventures. This work is critical for all of us in bringing long-term success in the fight against climate change, but there is still a long way to go.”
“Thank you, Business Green, for recognising and supporting not only our work in Green Angel Ventures, and that of our portfolio companies, Naked Energy and Zedify.”
The Net Zero Festival takes place from 31st October to 1st November at the Business Design Centre in North London. Green Angel Ventures CEO, Cam Ross and CEO of Naked Energy, Christophe Williams will join a panel at the event on 1st November, titled ‘Simply the best: Net Zero Pioneers’, to discuss the report further.
