Green Angel Ventures portfolio company, QLM has achieved remarkable success with its Quantum Gas Lidar during independent trials at the Methane Technology Evaluation Center at Colorado State University.
The Lidar system effectively identified, located and measured 264 methane leaks of varying sizes, providing accurate results under challenging weather conditions.
The performance showcased by QLM’s Quantum Gas Lidar stands among the most exceptional in the field of continuous methane monitoring technology. The demonstrated capabilities will not only surpass but also exceed the anticipated requirements set by the US EPA for continuous monitoring solutions in relation to fugitive emissions in the oil and natural gas industry.
This has resulted in the system being recognised as the gold standard for effectively detecting, precisely locating, and accurately quantifying fugitive and intermittent natural gas emissions.
