Cam Ross to speak at IP Summit
The Cambridge IP Summit 2019 is a free one-day event providing a focused forum for in-house IP teams, general counsel, investors, CEOs, CTOs and senior decision makers.
The award "recognises the most active and impactful Angel Syndicate or Group in the UK, making not only a significant number of investments during the past year, but also bringing strong added value to support the growth and success of their portfolio".
This is the most prestigious industry award for a syndicate, and we were nominated by the Angel CoFund, which has now invested 88 times alongside angel groups and is thus well-placed to know what best looks like.
It is also an accolade for the way we go about things - our professional approach to deal management and due diligence, the fair and proper way we handle potential portfolio companies, the effective way we use technology and our efforts to improve diversity, both in our membership, and in the companies we back.
We have won the award as a result of a genuine team effort over the last two years: by our colleagues in the GAS management team who have given so much time and skill; by our Associates, who infuse our deal management process with so much business and industry experience, and many of whom are making an invaluable post-investment contribution to the portfolio as Chairs, Non-exec Directors or Board Observers; and of course, by all our Members, without whom, as they say, none of this would be possible.

We believe that the award also reflects the vital importance of investment in the green economy. We must continue to build our activities so that we can have an ever greater impact on the dire environmental problems that the world faces.
