This is an informal Meet-Up, chaired by Lucette Demets, Head of Urban at London & Partners.
You will have a chance to hear updates from the Urban Team at London & Partners as well as meet founders and representatives from other companies - including those participating on the Business Growth Programme and the Mayors International Business Programme and we will also be welcoming international companies that are being assisted by our Inward Investment Teams.
In addition, we'll be joined by a special guest speaker Cam Ross, Director and Chief Operating Officer from the Green Angel Syndicate who will be giving us an introduction to the syndicate, how they support and invest in small businesses, what they look for and how the impact of Covid-19 has impacted on their investment decisions.
About Cam Ross
Cam Ross manages Technical Due Diligence for Green Angel Syndicate. He is also a Board member of SocietyWorks, the commercial arm of the not-for-profit social enterprise mySociety, which builds technology to help democracy, transparency, and community in the UK and overseas.
Previously, Ross co-founded, jointly ran and raised 2 rounds of Business Angel funding for a contact centre payments business, with an exit by sale to AIM-listed Eckoh plc. An Aeronautical Engineer by training, Ross also has experience in creating, commercialising and patenting new technology. He has twelve granted patents in the fields of telecommunications, payments and customer authentication. He has a practical ability to analyse and improve complex processes, from manufacturing to software systems.
