Shannon Hobbs is an enthusiastic young professional, with a passion for delivering effective and equitable solutions to the climate change crisis. She holds an MSc in Climate Change and Environmental Policy, and specialises in the intersection between climate change and human rights issues. Prior to joining GAS, Shannon has delivered several successful development and conservation projects in South Africa, Nepal, New Zealand and the UK. In 2021 Shannon launched, and continues to coordinate, a climate justice research project, which exposes the inequitable experiences of marginalised communities affected by climate change, to demand political action.
Shannon works across all departments at GAS on numerous projects, and her boundless positive energy is truly appreciated.
